I'm a clinical psychologist working for the Veteran's Administration in Oklahoma. I work with Vets from all eras who experience depression, anxiety, posttramatic stress disorder and chronic mental illness.
But...long ago and far away in the distant Santa Fe,
I was born to my unconventional parents who had a greenhouse business there before... (as my mother likes to say, ) Santa Fe was "discovered."
My childhood was an adventure that unfolded across the southwest, Baja California and finally, in Oklahoma. Here is a classic picture of our family in Mexico, I'm sporting the baby blue wind breaker and short bangs.
Graduate school, internship, and post doc in clinical psychology took me to big cities including Kansas City, Chicago and San Antonio. I met Walter in 2002 while we were both in Chicago, he was living outside of Toronto- we met thorugh a mutual interest in Objectivism and Ayn Rand. I moved home to Tulsa in 2009. In October of 2011 Walter immigrated from Canada and we were married in January 2012.
We have a tiny, cosy, tudor bungalow home built in 1930 and two cats. I have a busy and happy life with a focus on relationships, family, fitness and good food, wine and coffee.
