TMA

It has been a while since I blogged. October is the busiest month of my particular industry. I'm thinking things are on the downswing now. Today I went to the Toledo Museum of Art and refreshed myself. As usual I was moved to tears by the textured, frenetic work of van Gogh. TMA actually has a remarkable collection, including a portrait of Elizabeth I painted from life when she was about 50, just at the time of the defeat of Spanish Armada.
